Today’s “Ask Ellen” comes from Gloria in Deltona, Florida. Gloria asks:

❓Ellen help! I hosted my local chapter’s annual cutest chihuahua contest in my home. My ceramic tile and grout is a nightmare in one area where I have a fake palm tree after the chihuahuas seemed to think it was a real tree ( if you know what I mean). What can I do to remove the urine stains and stinky smells until my next annual tile and grout cleaning in Deltona? Peeved, Gloria ✔️

Dear Gloria-

Oh what a party! Good news is – there’s hope! Vinegar is one of those wonders of the world in my mind! It is a mild acid that works great at removing urine and urine odors. Get a spray bottle and fill it half with water and half with white vinegar. Spray the area generously and let it sit for at least 5 minutes. Then make up a paste mixture of baking soda and water. Apply this mixture to the areas that you sprayed with vinegar. Once the foaming has stopped, use your elbow grease and scrub with a brush. Rinse and repeat if necessary.

If you would like us to come on out and do your annual tile and grout cleaning in Deltona early. Tile and Grout Cleaning Services Just give us a call!

And for next time – I guess the tree has to go, so the chihuahuas don’t “go”! ?
